Attorneys Jeff Barker and Joshua Tolini bring over 50 years of combined experience in Colorado criminal defense. Their dedication to the law is deeply rooted in a keen awareness of the systemic biases pervasive in the criminal justice system. Early in their careers, both Mr. Barker and Mr. Tolini recognized the everyday occurrences of racial profiling, illegal searches and seizures, and other forms of unjust incrimination at the hands of law enforcement and prosecutors.

Jeff Barker
Jeff Barker graduated from the University of Denver School of Law in 1995. Mr. Barker began practicing for a general practice law firm in Denver, where he handled personal injury, worker’s compensation, dissolution of marriage and criminal defense cases. In 1998, Mr. Barker moved to Colorado Springs and opened Barker & Tolini, P.C. Since that time, Mr. Barker has successfully defended criminal cases ranging from traffic tickets, drug offenses, domestic violence cases and homicides.

Josh Tolini
Mr. Tolini graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 1998. He worked in the Public Defenders Office for almost four years before leaving to start Barker and Tolini P.C. Mr. Tolini has argued domestic violence cases before the Supreme Court of Colorado, litigated and won search and seizure issues against Federal drug task forces, and successfully defended several high profile homicide cases.
